Hi there! I’m Marissa Hall, owner/baker at Simply Delicious, a NYS registered home bakery. Formerly a PreK and Kindergarten teacher of 10 years, I made the very difficult decision to leave that career and try my hand at running my own business!
My family has had a very unique cutout cookie recipe that we’ve used for many years that is unlike any sugar cookie you’ve ever eaten! I decided to take this recipe and use to make breathily decorated cookies for any and all types of events. Slowly, I’ve also expanded my treat offerings to include multiple flavors of fudgy brownies, large gourmet cookies, and scrumptious hand pies. I love the joy on folks’ faces when they pick up their custom order or bite into a treat at a local market. I’ve learned so much and am excited to keep growing and trying new things!
